Colour cards!! 🎨 Created some DIY colour cards with Miss 6 over the weekend. They are plain greeting cards with a square window cut out and cellophane taped into the gap. I wrote the corresponding colour on the front of the card & Miss 6 drew pictures inside of items she knew to be the same colour ❤
Miss 6's drawings triggered wonderful conversations about various objects & colours. We've been reading a book called "These Colours Are Bananas." This book highlights the possibilities of colour and shows that not all bananas are yellow and apples are not always red. It's a fabulous book for inspiring creative thinking and further inquiries about colour. I've included some photos of the book in the carousel of pics

Mr 19 months had a wonderful time looking through the cellophane windows and grinning as he pulled the card away from his eyes. It must be magical seeing the whole room change colour. A whole new perspective on the possibilities of colour!
