Texture bags for infant play ❤ It is so much fun revisiting and reinventing my play ideas for infants! Here, one of my little clients, Mr 8 months is exploring texture bags. I made these bags with plastic painting trays from @modernteaching and resealable bags from @officemax_au The bags contain craft materials and are taped tightly around the edges with sellotape. ❤
It was wonderful to see Mr 8 months so eager to explore the bags on his tummy. They are completely on his eye level and he was instantly engaged, patting and scrunching them with his hands and delighting in the different textures. He scans all the trays with his eyes and moves his body, making sure he explores the objects on each different tray! You can see him in action in the videos attached. I especially love the part where he touches the button with his pointer finger 😍
