We had so much fun playing bowling games with coloured cups and wooden balls today! Miss 6 was very interested in the way the cups fell as the balls knocked them over. The videos of her attempts and the outcomes are really interesting so I added several to this post. The first video shows her excitement when she figured out how to roll the ball in a straight line, hitting the pyramid right in the middle so they all fell down!

Mr 18 months was also very excited to play. He loved knocking the pyramid over with his hands. On one occasion I handed him the ball and after eagerly knocking down the pyramid with his hands he remembered he had the ball and gave it a roll along the floor ❤ I love the way he rolls heavy balls and throws the lighter ones. I haven’t taught him this, he seems to have worked it out through his own explorations with the balls, and we've been exploring them for most of the year now! 🙌
