Mr 8 months had a lovely time exploring our gorgeous spring blooms from the garden yesterday 😍 I placed flowers and leaves into resealable bags and taped them to plastic trays. As the weather is so changeable in spring I love bringing our nature finds inside for children to explore 🌹
These trays have been absolutely perfect for tummy time explorations. At eye level Mr 8 months was instantly engaged and so animated as he explored! Miss 5 joined in and enjoyed pointing out her favourite flowers while Mr 8 months looked on. He then spent a long time captivated by a pink flower in the middle of the bag, using his pointer finger to explore the texture of the bloom 😍
I love the way these trays support active movement as little ones can slide them back & forth along the floor as they explore what interests them. It also means I can store them at the end of the day and save them up for next time Mr 8 months comes to play! 🌹
